About The Position
Collier Hills Dental is seeking an experienced Full Time Dental Hygienist for their practice located in the NW Midtown Atlanta Buckhead Area. This is a patient-centered dental practice that offers great hours and a supportive, collaborative team atmosphere. They are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join their caring team and provide quality care to patients. New hygienist graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
- Experience with dental practice software
- Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred - but new grads are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
