Requirements

Active Texas Dental Hygienist license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
Strong communication and patient-education skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering an excellent patient experience.
Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
A current CPR certification

Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal care based on individual patient needs.
Performing assessments, diagnostics, periodontal charting, radiographs, and other services within your scope of practice.
Educating patients on oral health, disease prevention, home care, and the connection between oral and overall health.
Partnering closely with the dentist to identify patient needs and support comprehensive treatment planning.
Building trust with patients through compassionate, judgment-free care.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and following established infection-control and safety standards.
Staying current on clinical techniques, technology, and evidence-based approaches to dental hygiene.
Deliver high-quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence-based protocols.
Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co-diagnose and personalize treatment.
Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient.
Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.
