Requirements

• Current Michigan Dental Hygiene License (New Grads/awaiting license welcome)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to perform all aspects of dental hygiene care, including: Periodontal charting, Digital X-rays, Adult and pediatric prophylaxis, Scaling and root planing, Fluoride treatments, Preventive patient education

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments
• Provide periodontal charting and evaluations
• Take diagnostic digital radiographs
• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing
• Administer fluoride treatments and preventive services
• Educate patients on oral health and home care
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver outstanding patient care
• Build trusting relationships that keep patients smiling
