About The Position
Dental One Associates of Waldorf is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join their clinical team in Waldorf, Maryland. The role involves providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment, focusing on comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting. The hygienist will perform routine cleanings, assessments, and patient education, supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals in a growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is a priority. The facility is state-of-the-art, equipped with advanced technology like Overjet, a CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) to aid in delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
