About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists with examinations.
- Take dental x-rays and perform other diagnostic tests.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, such as proper brushing and flossing techniques.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
