About The Position

Rogue Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the underserved and uninsured in Jackson County, Oregon. We provide primary health care, behavioral health, and dental screenings. No patient is turned away and we offer a sliding fee scale, as well as other payment options to ensure our community members receive the care they need and deserve. We believe safe and effective healthcare is a right and a privilege. We strive to eliminate all barriers to patient access to care. Rogue Community Health is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Royal Court Clinic!

Requirements

• Must work 20 hours per week or more to be benefit-eligible.
• Required to complete a criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen once a conditional offer is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in providing preventative and therapeutic intra-oral procedures for disease prevention and arrest.
• Identify periodontal health/disease and make recommendations for treatment.
• Provide oral health education and encouragement to patients.
• Comply with organizational policies, procedures, standards of care and related laws and regulations including HIPAA, and OSHA, regulations.
