Dental Hygienist
About The Position
Southfield Family Dental Center is growing and looking to add a full-time Hygienist to our established and patient-focused practice! We are a technology-forward practice using a Trios intraoral scanner, Pearl AI, Eaglesoft, and CBCT. We offer a balanced care schedule with 1-hour recall appointments and 1.5-hour scaling & root planing (SRP) appointments. We prioritize work-life balance with a schedule that includes Monday & Thursday from 8:00 am–5:00 pm and Tuesday & Wednesday from 9:00 am–7:00 pm. We offer strong compensation with a rate of $50–$53/hour plus monthly bonus opportunities. Requirements
- MI Dental Hygiene License (or currently awaiting licensing — new grads welcome!)
- Strong communication skills and a warm interpersonal style
- Experience (or training) in full-spectrum dental hygiene: perio charting, x-rays, prophy, SRP, patient education, fluoride, etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform hygiene exams, cleanings, and periodontal care
- Take and interpret dental x-rays
- Chart and monitor periodontal health
- Provide patient education (oral hygiene, prevention, etc.)
- Use our advanced technology (scanner, AI, CBCT) to enhance care
- Partner with our clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dentistry
