Requirements
- Active Virginia Dental Hygiene License (New graduates and hygienists awaiting Virginia licensure are encouraged to apply.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene care, including: Perio charting, Digital X-rays, Prophylaxis, Scaling & Root Planing (SRP), Patient education, Fluoride treatments
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
- Team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures
- Conduct periodontal charting and assessments
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Provide prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance
- Perform scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral health and home care
- Collaborate with doctors to develop and support treatment plans
- Deliver an outstanding patient experience at every visit
