About The Position

Nicholas J. Molinaro, DDS is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their established family dental practice in Catonsville, Maryland on a part-time basis. The practice has earned the trust of families by providing personalized, high-quality dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. They are looking for a hygienist who shares their passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

Requirements

• Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license required
• Must follow AAP (American Academy of Periodontology) staging and grading for patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred, new grads are welcome!
• Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
• Experience with dental practice software
• Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
• Reviewing patient's history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed
