About The Position

Family Dental Health of Mauldin Square is seeking an outgoing, team-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide quality, compassionate dental care. The role includes direct patient care, preventive treatments, patient education, and customer service. The hygienist will also help promote Family Dental Health in the community. The position is part-time and is based at 211 E Butler Rd Ste B3, Mauldin, SC. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina.
• Proficient in performing all hygiene treatments, patient education, and taking digital x-rays.

• Periodontal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Deliver direct patient care, including scaling and prophylaxis.
• Take digital x-rays.
• Take intraoral photos of every patient.
• Apply sealants and fluoride.
• Educate patients.
• Assess patients' dental conditions and needs, and review their medical histories.
• Provide excellent customer service by offering Same Day Care.
• Participate in community events and functions to educate others and promote a positive image of Family Dental Health.
