Requirements

Current Iowa Dental Hygienist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and patient education skills
Passion for preventive care and improving patient health
Commitment to teamwork and delivering exceptional experiences
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
A current CPR certification

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene care
Perform patient assessments, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings
Educate patients on oral health, home care, and disease prevention
Partner with doctors to identify and present treatment opportunities that improve long-term patient outcomes
Build trust and lasting relationships with patients and their families
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with state and regulatory guidelines
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office culture focused on outstanding patient care
Deliver high-quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence-based protocols.
Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co-diagnose and personalize treatment.
Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient.
Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.
