About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Camp Sayahh Kids Dental Care, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Our clinic is designed with kids in mind, creating a fun, comforting experience that helps children feel excited about coming to the dentist. From a camper your child can explore and play in, to our cozy, quiet-time treehouse, every part of our space is built to make families feel relaxed, welcomed, and at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
  • Registered Dental Hygienist status in good standing with the ACDH.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a busy schedule efficiently.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience is a bonus.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
  • Pediatric experience is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of clinical hygiene services—including scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying topical fluoride—with precision and care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and case typing in alignment with clinical protocols to support appropriate, individualized care plans.
  • Commitment to disclosing solutions to identify areas of concern and provide comprehensive oral hygiene instruction (OHI), empowering patients to improve and maintain their oral health.
  • Act as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
  • Build strong, trusting patient relationships through every interaction—your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
  • Create a tailored, patient-centred experience based on each individual’s needs, expectations, and goals.
  • Provide compassionate, confident care to children of all ages and abilities, ensuring a positive and supportive dental experience.
