Dental Hygienist (Pipeline for future opportunities)
About The Position
We are Growing and we’re excited to connect with SC Registered Dental Hygienists who are interested in being considered for future opportunities in Greenville and Simpsonville, NC! A Dental Hygienist plays a key role in creating an incredible patient experience. You’ll work side‑by‑side with our dentists to support each patient’s oral health journey. From completing dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance to performing oral cancer screenings and accurate charting. You’ll help patients feel confident and cared for at every visit. You’ll also jump in where needed to support the team and uphold our high standard of care, contributing to a positive, collaborative, and patient‑focused environment.
Requirements
- Completed dental hygiene certificate program or Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene and has current Hygienist license for state of South Carolina.
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and exercise good judgment
- Ability to formulate, affect, interpret, and/or implement operating practices
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork approach to job responsibilities
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability and promptness
- Must perform frequent repetitive work with attention to detail
- Must have the ability to be flexible and accept different work assignments with a positive approach
- Ability to follow instructions and takes responsibility for own actions
- Ability to exercise confidentiality with Patients and patient care
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and written correspondence
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care following established dental hygiene procedures
- Assess patients’ dental health through screenings, medical history review, and dental/perio charting
- Take patient vital signs and required radiographs
- Perform routine preventive treatments such as cleanings, polishing, sealants, and fluoride
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive dental health
- Review and explain treatment plans along with the associated fees with patients
- Communicate patient needs and concerns clearly to the dentist
- Clean and sterilize instruments as well as equipment
- Support treatment coordination and assist with other office duties as needed
- Must be present on time (operational hours may vary based on location); individual must be reliable.
