About The Position
Graham Family Dental Care is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is passionate about building patient relationships and providing thorough preventive and periodontal care. The practice emphasizes a patient-centered approach, allowing ample time for each appointment, including 60-minute recalls, 90-minute new patient exams, and 60-90 minute SRP procedures. Hygienists are empowered to lead their appointments within their clinical scope, focusing on thoughtful clinical judgment and strong patient communication rather than a scripted approach. The role offers support and growth opportunities, including access to a local hygiene mentor for clinical guidance, case discussions, periodontal calibration, technology training, and professional development. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive additional onboarding and mentorship.
Requirements
- Active WA Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Local anesthesia certification
- Strong patient communication skills
- Strong periodontal care skills
Responsibilities
- Assess periodontal health.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Recommend appropriate preventive and periodontal care.
