About The Position

Northside Dental Clinic, located at 254 Main Street in Fredericton, NB, is a multi-dentist practice offering a wide array of dental care options. We provide general dentistry services to pediatric and adult patients, including preventive care, smile reconstruction (cosmetic, root canal treatment, crown and bridges), TMJ devices, implants, dentures, and professional teeth whitening. Requirements

Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required
Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required
Valid CPR certification is required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
