About The Position
Greenstone Dental is seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist to join their dynamic, professional team in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The practice's mission is to raise the standard of dental care across northern Ontario and is described as a highly productive, family-orientated practice. The Dental Hygienist will perform standard procedures, maintain an aseptic work area, be organized and self-motivated, and demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity to patient concerns to ensure comfort and confidence.
Requirements
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene
- Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and membership in good standing
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of dental hygiene
- Interpersonal skills to work well in a team environment, and with patients
- Standard First Aid - CPR C - AED certificate
- Knowledge or experience with PC software / dental software / radiograph imaging software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of periodontal conditions and appropriate treatments
Responsibilities
- Performs the usual and customary procedures of the Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Maintain an aseptic work area.
- Be organized and self-motivated.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity to all patient concerns to ensure patient comfort and confidence.
