About The Position
Bonney Lake Family Dental Care is looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys building relationships with patients while providing high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a collaborative, supportive practice. Our hygienists are given the time they need to provide exceptional care, with 1-hour routine hygiene appointments and 90-minute new patient appointments.
Requirements
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Local Anesthetic Certification required.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and periodontal charting.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and personalized home care recommendations.
- Review treatment plans and collaborate with doctors to support comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize adjunctive therapies, including Perio DT, Arestin, and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF), as appropriate.
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience through compassionate, individualized care.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
