About The Position
Wichita Family Dental East is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are looking for a punctual, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a team environment, and delivers exceptional clinical experiences. This role offers commission-based pay tied to clinical production, providing an excellent opportunity for motivated hygienists to be rewarded for their work. Schedule Friday and Saturday.
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning
- Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments
- Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments
- Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients
