About The Position

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is growing and seeking passionate Registered Dental Hygienists across the Triangle area for future opportunities. The Dental Hygienist works closely with dentists to support patient oral health needs, focusing on preventative and periodontal care, patient education, and maintaining high clinical standards in a team-driven environment. Opportunities are available in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and surrounding communities within full-service practices known for high-quality, comprehensive care in a welcoming setting. The typical schedule options include Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM, varying by location.

Requirements

Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina
Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (Associate’s degree or certificate required)
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance standards
Flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventative care
Conduct patient screenings, including medical history review and periodontal charting
Take dental radiographs for diagnostic purposes
Provide oral cancer screenings
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and disease prevention
Accurately document patient care in electronic records
Review and explain treatment plans and associated fees with patients
Communicate patient conditions and concerns with the dentist
Maintain operatory cleanliness and sterilization standards
Support team operations and assist with additional duties as needed
