About The Position
The Southport Dentologie dental practice is seeking a kind and dedicated full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team! Close to Chicago classics like Wrigley Field, Schuba's, and Stephanie Izard's Little Goat Diner. Come be part of something special! As a full-time member of an incredible and highly respected hygiene team with Dentologie, you can expect a predictable schedule for work-life balance in a single practice. You will receive Day 1 Mentorship, both support and mentoring from our senior Hygiene leader(s)! Laser Therapy training along with other CE including CPR renewal. Dentologie uses Dentrix Ascend as the DPMS; the latest model of iTero scanners, Piezo scalers, intraoral cameras, Dexis sensors, and Gemini Diode lasers. Hu-Friedy instruments.
Requirements
- Active IL Registered Dental Hygiene license + Local Anesthesia certified.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed.
- Assist dentist chairside during examinations.
- Contribute positively to an engaging company culture.
- Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients.
- Instruct patients on pre/post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.
- Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
