About The Position

In this full-time 40-hour per week daytime role, you will guide students through a rigorous CODA-accredited curriculum across classroom, lab, and clinical environments. This Monday through Friday schedule offers a stable, predictable routine—allowing you to move away from the traditional clinical grind while remaining at the forefront of dental hygiene education and mentoring the next generation of professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Baccalaureate) from an academic institution accredited by an agency recognized by the USDE or CHEA.
• Graduation from a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene or Dental program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist.
• Current, active Texas state license to practice dental hygiene or dentistry, plus all state-required credentials (including CPR certification).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality daily lesson plans, lectures, and active learning activities in a classroom setting aligned with course objectives.
• Track student progress, identify learning gaps early, and provide targeted tutoring or intervention for at-risk students.
• Provide expert chairside guidance in preclinical and laboratory environments, reinforcing didactic concepts through hands-on practice.
• Assist in continuous curriculum evaluation and accreditation reporting to maintain CODA program standards.
• Maintain precise and timely student attendance, grade books, and academic records per institutional and CODA policies.
• Deliver constructive, substantive evaluations that build student clinical confidence, critical thinking, and professional development.
