Requirements
- Bachelor degree required, preferably in Dental Hygiene but can be in a related field with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene
- Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Alabama - Required
- At least three years of experience as an RDH
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- Local Anesthesia or Nitrous Oxide certifications are desirable but not required
- Oral Systemic Educator certification is desirable but not required
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Teach Dental Hygiene courses.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Assist the program director.
- Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
