About The Position

Dental One Associates of Cross Keys is seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland, to join their clinical team. Requirements

Prior dental assisting experience
High school diploma or GED (Required)
Radiology certification (Required)
Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort

Nice To Haves

Associate or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Cordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA
