About The Position

RSMC Services is recruiting an experienced Dental General Manager on behalf of a growing, doctor-led dental organization with multiple practices throughout Oahu. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, support and develop Practice Managers, improve operational and financial performance, and ensure consistent execution across the organization. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager and is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular travel between practice locations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-site dental operations.
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing managers.
  • Dental industry experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of dental operations, financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and EBITDA.
  • Proven success improving KPIs and overall practice performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple locations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Oahu.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience with Open Dental preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple dental practices.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Practice Managers and future leaders.
  • Maintain a consistent leadership presence across practice locations.
  • Drive improvements in production, collections, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs, including EBITDA.
  • Analyze performance data and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Establish accountability and ensure consistent follow-through.
  • Standardize operational best practices while respecting individual practice cultures.
  • Partner with doctors and practice teams to support exceptional patient experiences.
  • Support provider onboarding and operational readiness.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify operational challenges and partner with the Regional Manager on solutions.
