About The Position

At Lake Havasu Dentistry, we are rewriting the script on what a dental visit feels like. Led by Dr. Ryan Kurtz, Dr. Christine Gonzalez, and Dr. Landon Allen, our large, advanced, multi-doctor practice is dedicated to relationship-driven care, exceptional patient comfort, and cutting-edge treatments-including our newly expanded implant, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry services. Located in the heart of Lake Havasu City, our practice is high-volume, modern, and fast-paced. We believe that a world-class patient experience begins the second someone walks through our doors or calls our office. That's why we are looking for an energetic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our powerhouse administrative team.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience working in a dental front office environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven familiarity with dental insurance verification, tracking claims, and navigating insurance portals is a massive plus.
  • You thrive in a busy, multi-provider office setup, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can pivot quickly without losing your attention to detail.
  • You have a positive, professional, and empathetic phone presence, and you love working collaboratively with both the clinical and front office teams.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with mainstream dental practice management software (such as Dentrix) is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the patient check-in and check-out workflow.
  • Greet patients warmly, manage digital patient forms, minimize wait times, and create an exceptional first and last impression.
  • Answer incoming calls efficiently, handle patient inquiries, and strategically schedule and confirm appointments to optimize daily doctor and hygiene production.
  • Present treatment plans seamlessly, answer basic scheduling questions, and conduct timely post-op calls to ensure top-tier clinical follow-through.
  • Run detailed, proactive insurance coverage checks prior to patient visits to ensure transparent pricing estimates and maximize patient benefits.
  • Prepare, submit, and track dental claims.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), process patient payments, collect co-pays chairside/at checkout, handle billing inquiries, and assist with daily financial balancing.
