About The Position

Join our fun, fast-paced pediatric dental practice as a Dental Front Desk Coordinator! We are looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused professional who enjoys working with children and families while helping create a positive, welcoming office experience. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and parents, helping ensure smooth scheduling, excellent communication, and a seamless front-office experience from check-in to check-out. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and enjoy building relationships while keeping operations running efficiently, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a dental front desk receptionist is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Dentrix.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous dental front desk or dental office experience preferred
  • Comfortable discussing scheduling, insurance, and financial information with patients and families
  • Experience with dental software and scheduling systems is a plus
  • Spanish speak a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and families warmly, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up communication
  • Answer phones and respond to patient questions professionally and compassionately
  • Verify insurance information and assist families with understanding coverage and payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
  • Reactivate overdue patients and help maintain a productive schedule
  • Collect patient payments and support front office financial processes
