About The Position
Dentalcare Group is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Dental Educational Supervisor/Mentor to join their team at Dentalcare Westbury. This NHS/Private practice prioritizes patient care. The role involves supporting a new training scheme for overseas-qualified dentists, helping them integrate into the NHS system. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced NHS dentist with a passion for mentoring and clinical development to play a pivotal role while maintaining flexibility in their work schedule.
Requirements
- Full GDC registration and an active NHS performer number
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in UK general dental practice
- A genuine interest in education, mentoring, and professional development
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in teaching or supervision is desirable but not essential
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to up to 3 overseas-qualified dentists
- Assess clinical performance and professionalism in line with NHS standards
- Liaise with the clinical leadership team and practice manager to ensure smooth integration
- Offer pastoral support and guidance to dentists during their NHS induction
- Attend relevant training and meetings as required
