About The Position

Manage substantial amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner. Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics. Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives Bilingual Preferred

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years customer service
  • Good Proficiency and navigation PC application included by not limited to MicroSoft suite of products and EMR scheduling systems
  • Ability to multitask while actively listening
  • Excellent verbal, written and keyboarding skills
  • Good telephone manner with a clear speaking voice
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with the patients and outside professionals
  • Ability to work well within a team atmosphere
  • Must be current or willing to be vaccinated for the following o TDAP (up to date booster) o MMR series o Varicella o HEP B series o Flu Shot o TB Screening o COVID

Nice To Haves

  • 1 + of medical work experience
  • 3 + years of general inbound call center experience
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming medical office calls to schedule appointments, create professional written commutations and direct to appropriate parties
  • Responds promptly to changes in workload and adjusts to new or different work assignments, as necessary
  • Develops and maintains necessary confidential records and files
  • Other duties as assigned
