At our Dental Assisting Academy, we’re on a mission to shape the next generation of dental assistants, and we need a Dental Assisting Instructor to join our team! This isn’t your average teaching gig. You’ll bring your real-world dental experience to the classroom and lab, showing students the ropes, mentoring them through hands-on skills, and watching their confidence (and smiles) grow.
Requirements
- Associate degree (minimum); bachelor’s preferred
- 5+ years of dental assisting or 3+ years of teaching DA
- Certified/Registered Dental Assistant (or licensed dentist) credential
- BLS certification and proficiency in four-handed/six-handed dentistry
- Passion for teaching and inspiring future dental professionals
Responsibilities
- Train students in the fundamentals of dental assisting
- Lead engaging lectures and hands-on lab sessions
- Share your experience and industry insights
- Help place students in externships and guide them to success
- Mentor, motivate, and inspire the next generation of dental professionals
