Requirements

High school diploma preferred (not required)
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized
Willingness to learn and grow in a healthcare setting
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Passion for patient care and making a difference

Responsibilities

Chairside Support: Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of clinical procedures.
Ensure smooth, efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.
Clinical Preparation & Sterilization: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
Maintain strict infection control standards by sterilizing equipment and sanitizing workspaces.
Patient Care & Experience: Provide compassionate, patient-focused support to ensure comfort and understanding.
Educate and motivate patients as needed to support overall care.
Documentation & Records: Accurately maintain patient charts, records, and treatment notes.
Ensure documentation is complete, organized, and compliant.
Inventory & Supplies: Monitor, order, and maintain supplies and equipment.
Track inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials.
Compliance & Team Support: Follow guidelines set by the American Dental Association (ADA), Missouri Dental Board, and organizational policies.
Support the team with additional duties as needed.
