About The Position

Founded in 1970 as South Philadelphia Health Action and subsequently incorporated as Greater Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA is a non-profit healthcare organization with a commitment to provide compassionate and affordable healthcare services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. GPHA is one of the largest Dental providers in Philadelphia and Tri-state area. We are presently seeking Dental Assistants for Saturdays only.

Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
• One year of dental assisting experience, preferred
• DANB Certification required
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• CPR Certification required
• Must possess the ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and languages effectively to obtain necessary information

• Traveling and rotating Saturdays are required

Responsibilities

• Chairside dentistry
• Quality diagnostic digital x-rays
• Impressions and model pouring
• Infection control knowledge
• The ability to adapt and understand the needs of the Dentist
