About The Position

North Dental Professionals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-time Dental Assistant (DA) to join their team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to patients and perform light administrative duties. The team is small, so each member is cross-trained to help in every department. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, loves dentistry, and enjoys working with fun professionals. The position requires travel between two office locations every other week.

Requirements

• Coronal Polish/Sealant certification required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
• Excited to be part of a dental family and a career to be proud of!

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray certification in the state of Illinois preferred but not required
