About The Position

Imagix Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Norcross, GA! We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience required
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
• X-Ray certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, patient-focused attitude

Nice To Haves

• Nitrous Oxide certification highly preferred
• Dental Assistants are expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatment
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take X-rays and assist with impressions and study models
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients
• Provide post-treatment instructions and support excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols
• Support the clinical team and help keep the office running smoothly
• Assist with dental and medical emergencies as needed
