About The Position

AMG Healthcare Services, Inc. is a staffing agency with over 15 years of experience placing healthcare professionals in government and non-government positions nationwide. We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to provide services at one of Portsmouth Naval Station’s multiple facilities. The main Portsmouth base is located at: 1647 Admiral Taussig Rd, Norfolk, VA 23511. Specific facility assignment will occur after interview and background clearance.

Requirements

• Updated resume with at least 1 year of relevant recent work experience (some candidates may require 3+ years).
• Active Dental Assistant certification.
• Diploma/equivalent showing proof of course completion.
• Non-expired Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Issued by AHA or ARC only).
• Valid X-Ray/Radiology Certification identifying course/curriculum completion.
• Current insurance information if choosing the AMG Insurance Coverage option.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental assistant services at Portsmouth Naval Station facilities.
• Work a schedule of Mon – Thu: 6:30am – 3:30pm & Fri from 6:30am – 3:15 (+ 30 min lunch break).
