Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years chairside dental assisting experience.
- Strong computer skills required - Office is paperless and digital (ie: clinical notes, intraoral scanning, periocharting).
- Proficiency with Dentrix Practice Management Software.
- Experience with DEXIS Digital Imaging and DTX Studio 3D/CBCT Imaging.
- Ability to take traditional impressions.
- Willingness to be part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with iTero Scanner & Trios Scanner.
- Familiarity with performing ZOOM Teeth Whitening procedures.
- Familiarity with multispecialty procedures including perio, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, implant placement, neuromodulators/dermal fillers, and sedation dentistry in addition to general/cosmetic/family dentistry.
- Ability to fabricate night guards/whitening trays using a suck down unit and tools.
- Familiarity with administration/front desk.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside dental assisting.
- Ensure positive patient experiences.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology and modern techniques.
- Cover Mondays as needed, switching a different day of the week with notice.
- Take traditional impressions.
- Fabricate night guards/whitening trays using a suck down unit and tools (helpful, but not required).
- Assist with multispecialty procedures including perio, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, implant placement, neuromodulators/dermal fillers, and general/cosmetic/family dentistry (helpful, but not required).
- Perform ZOOM Teeth Whitening procedures (familiarity helpful, but not required).
