Mandarin Speaking Part Time Dental Assistant
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our dental team serving in a senior outpatient clinic in Alhambra, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to bring dental care directly to seniors who often have limited access to dentistry. It is a mission-driven healthcare company that emphasizes quality over volume. The position involves assisting the dentist chairside, managing portable dental equipment, communicating with patients in English and/or Mandarin, adhering to sterilization protocols, ensuring patient comfort, and completing basic documentation.
Requirements
- Certified/Registered Dental Assistant
- Active Radiation Certificate
- Fluent in Mandarin (or Cantonese)
- Strong understanding of OSHA & infection control
- Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License
- Able to lift/transport equipment (25–50 lbs)
- Must pass federal background check & drug screening
- Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
- A heart for serving seniors and underserved communities
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside for general dentistry
- Set up, break down, and maintain portable dental equipment
- Serve patients in their native language, English and/or Mandarin
- Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, supported, and informed
- Complete basic documentation, charting and administrative tasks
- Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability
