About The Position
White Family Dental is a busy, multi-doctor, high-tech dental office seeking full-time experienced dental assistants. They are looking for individuals with excellent patient skills and a team-player attitude to join their practice. Dental Assistants are described as integral members of the team, fostering a clinically led culture, assisting the doctor, connecting with patients, and contributing to the practice's success.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify
- X-ray certification where state regulations specify
- Excellent patient skills
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
