About The Position
KC Dentistry 4 Kids is looking for a Dental Assistant to join their team. This role is for a compassionate, patient-focused professional who enjoys working with children and families. The Dental Assistant will play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical procedures, and creating a positive, welcoming experience. The ideal candidate understands the impact of a positive dental experience on a child and will use compassion, encouragement, and relationship-building to create a safe and confident environment for patients.

Responsibilities
- Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
- Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
- Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
- Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families
