About The Position
We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant (experienced) who is an energetic team player! We are an established private family practice located on E 56th St in New York. We have an excellent team environment led by an amazing Doctor and our focus is our patients and our team!
Requirements
- Active CPR Certification
- Radiology/X-Ray Certification
- Available to work practice hours as needed Monday through Thursday, 9a to 6:30p, hours vary.
Nice To Haves
- Adeptness in Intra Oral photography a plus!
Responsibilities
- Supports patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
- Supports patient care by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
- Anticipates doctor's needs in set-ups, suction, and the passing of instruments and materials.
- Documents dental care services by thorough charting in patient records.
- Ensures OSHA compliance with the sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms.
- Contributes to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition.
