About The Position

These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These role encompass a wide range of roles focused on the care, treatment, and maintenance of oral health. Responsibilities focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and other structures of the mouth. Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. ​ Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care areas. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education.​ Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. ​ Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.​

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a Dental Radiation Safety Course by an Accredited Program of Study required.
  • No prior experience required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification with to be completed within 90 days of hire date.
  • Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
