Requirements

Certified Dental Assistant required
Must be proficient in written and spoken English
Strong computer and keyboarding skills required
Ability to maintain professionalism and excellent patient care at all times

Nice To Haves

Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting with orthodontic procedures and adjustments
Preparing patients for bracket bonding and treatment procedures
Taking and organizing orthodontic records
Performing lab work and maintaining sterilization protocols
Ensuring treatment areas are thoroughly sanitized between patients
Communicating with patients and families in a professional, friendly manner
Assisting with phones and administrative support during busy times
Supporting a collaborative, team-oriented office environment
Working chairside and “in the mouth” daily while maintaining a calm, confident, and caring demeanor.
