About The Position

OWL Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is looking for an experienced and versatile Dental Assistant to join their pediatric and orthodontic teams. The practice is moving to a new building in a few months and is seeking someone who loves working with children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and values patient experience and teamwork. The team is passionate about creating positive and comfortable dental visits for children and families.

Requirements

• Dental assisting experience required
• Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Calm, friendly demeanor with children of all ages & all abilities

Nice To Haves

• Previous pediatric & ortho experience preferred
• Coronal polishing certification
• Sealant certification
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during pediatric dental and orthodontic procedures
• Help create a calm, friendly, and engaging experience for children
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper sterilization protocols
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Accurately document clinical notes and follow practice protocols
• Support patient flow to keep the day running smoothly
