Indiana Dental Outreach, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assitant in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.
Requirements
- X-ray License
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- CPR certified
- Work experience as a Dental Assistant
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willing to travel
- Works well with children
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- Team player and able to work on a small team
Nice To Haves
- Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
- Travel Daily to and from school sites
