About The Position

Lakeshore Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant in Fox Point, WI, to support its clinical team by delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring satisfaction within a collaborative environment. This role is crucial for providing office support and assisting professional dental staff with various treatments. Requirements

One year or more on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
