About The Position

Bright Now! Dental in Orlando is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires prior dental assistant experience, current X-ray certification, strong chairside assisting skills, and excellent communication and patient care abilities. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused.

Requirements

• Prior Dental Assistant experience required
• Current X-ray certification (as required by Florida state regulations)
• Strong chairside assisting skills across general dentistry procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused
• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive clinical experience
