About The Position

Experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant wanted for Timber Kids Dentistry in Medford, OR. This full-time position offers a pay rate of $24.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate loves working with children, brings confidence, compassion, and a positive attitude to patient interactions, and enjoys making children smile and creating positive dental experiences. The role is part of a supportive, energetic, and fun team-focused work environment where contributions matter. The goal is to create healthy, happy smiles throughout Southern Oregon.

Requirements

• Previous Pediatric Dental Assisting experience is required
• Current Oregon X-Ray Certification (or ability to obtain if required)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pediatric environment
• Must be flexible to travel between our Medford, Grants Pass, and Ashland locations as needed

Nice To Haves

• Oregon EFDA certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during a variety of dental procedures
• Help create a fun, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every child
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper infection control protocols
• Work collaboratively with teammates to keep the day running smoothly
