About The Position

We are a busy pediatric dental office in Colorado Springs dedicated to creating positive, fun dental experiences for children. Our team is upbeat, supportive, and passionate about helping kids feel comfortable and confident during their visits. We take pride in maintaining a high-energy, team-oriented environment where both patients and staff enjoy coming to work. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Dental assisting experience is preferred, and pediatric experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification required
• X-ray certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate with children
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Nice To Haves

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs (as permitted by state regulations)
• Comfort and engage with children to ensure a positive experience
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Support front office or team members as needed
