Requirements

Current Kansas dental assisting credentials required for duties performed (as applicable by state law).
Current CPR/BLS certification, or the ability to obtain prior to your start date.
Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, sterilization protocols, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while providing an exceptional patient experience.
Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and create a positive, comfortable experience from the moment they arrive.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for a wide range of dental procedures.
Assist the doctor during restorative, preventive, and specialty procedures while ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care.
Take dental radiographs and other diagnostic records as permitted by state regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Follow infection prevention, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Support teammates throughout the office to help create a seamless experience for every patient.
Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Improving oral health, solving dental challenges, and bettering smiles every day
