Requirements

Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) and medical terminology
Proficiency assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

Dental Assisting Certification
1+ years experience in a dental office
Bilingual Dental Assistants, encouraged to apply, and will be compensated at an increased rate.

Responsibilities

Take dental radiographs (PA, BW, CBCT & IO images) and digital scans/impressions
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Take patient medical histories, blood pressure, and pulse
Support doctors during procedures and help manage dental/medical emergencies
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment
Educate patients on treatment options and oral hygiene
Maintain inventory, equipment, and lab case tracking
Turn over operatories efficiently between procedures
