About The Position

Aspen Dental in Rocky Mountain House is growing! We are excited to add a Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to our amazing, dedicated team to complement a new dentist we are adding to the team! We’re looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about their career. A strong team spirit is a must! You’ll be joining a clinic with exceptional dentists and a supportive clinical and administrative team. Specifics about the role:

Requirements

Experience as a Dental Assistant is an asset but new graduates are welcome to apply
Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant and in good standing with the CADA.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.

Nice To Haves

Experience using Dentrix would be considered an asset.
Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.
